Roland Christensen, CEO
Mr. Christensen is the Founder and CEO of ACTA Aerospace and also founded ACTM, Freedom Innovations, and Christensen Arms. A significant and well-known contributor to composite design for aircraft and space structures, Mr. Christensen has over 37 years in composites engineering experience, including as Vice President of Engineering at Fiber Tek, Director of Engineering at Fiber Science (the predecessor to EDO Fiber Sciences, recently sold to ITT), and R&D Manager at Hercules. Mr. Christensen holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, and was recently named the Utah Small Business Person of the Year for 2013 by the Small Business Administration.
Jason Christensen, President
Mr. Christensen has almost 20 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer in aerospace, structural, and medical industries. Mr. Christensen has previously served as Vice President, Engineering and Program Management, for ACTA and as a Research and Design Engineer for Ford Motor Company. He holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from Brigham Young University.
Bret Ashton, VP of Business Development
Mr. Ashton has over 30 years of experience in aerospace composites operations, sales and program management. His previous experience includes work at Fiber Science, Fibertek, Winding Tech, Rocky Mountain Composites.
Ryan Etherington, Director of Operations
Mr. Etherington has over 20 years of manufacturing experience and management experience. He has served a multitude of vital roles within various organizations, including as Project Manager and Operations Manager.
Brent Wallace, CFO
Mr. Wallace has over 20 years of quantitative finance and program management experience in support of public accounting and manufacturing operations. Mr. Wallace has served as a bank controller and in management positions with Grant Thornton. Mr. Wallace serves as the primary ACTA focal point with L-3 CSW for the yoke and reflector programs.
Greg Lyman, Director of Quality
Mr. Lyman has 7 years of Quality Management experience in the aerospace industry. His previous experience includes 7 years as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. He graduated with a BS degree from Weber State University in Clinical Laboratory Science. Greg has been the focal point for both AS9100 and NADCAP certifications, and is a certified AS9100 auditor.
Doug Lee, Director of Engineering
Mr. Lee has 20 years of Engineering and design experience in the aerospace industry. With a background in design and analysis, Doug has previously worked with companies such as Goodrich, Cirrus Design, and Adam Aircraft. He is also structures and M&P Designated Engineering Representative (DER). He graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering.
